Suspire are a high-energy, super-enthusiastic rock band from Glasgow. Having recently undergone a major line-up change, with brother-bassist, Mark Duffin now headed for life in Canada; three have become four. Now, with bursts of three-part harmonies, big, high-energy beats and a repertoire of new songs. New members include Brian Cunningham (bass, backing vocals – and co-songwriter); and Ian R. Thomson (guitar, backing vocals).

Main supports include Shonen Knife (Kurt Cobain’s favourite band), Kassidy, XSM, Dutch Uncles, Cosmic Rough Riders’ front-man Daniel Wylie and RM Hubbert. Played festivals including RockNess and EIFF 2010/11 and KEF 2012.

Internationally, the band have toured briefly in France (2009), USA and Canada (2011).

Primetime radio airplay gained in Washington D.C. (2011) and San Francisco (Pacific FM, 2011).  UK radio airplay gained on Jim Gellatly’s Clyde 1 show, Amazing Radio, Radio Six International, Salford City FM, Dune FM and Pulse FM.
